| Erythronium sibiricum 'Altai Snow' ~ Whether they're related is under debate, but for our purposes we can think of this as an exceptionally large-flowered, vigorous, albino form of E. dens-canis. The yellow-throated blooms appear on 4-inch stems in April and May above faintly mottled leaves. It likes humus-rich, moist soil and partial shade, where over time it will establish lusty clumps. Continental; Siberia. Zone 2.
